This film is an epic. You could see 8.0 points for this film in the internet movie database site. This is an unusual story which says the entire life history of the man called BENJAMIN BUTTON. He is born as an infant with the looks of an aged man. He lives the reverse life of a common man in age vs body metabolism. As usual a there is a relation with a gal and the entire plot plays around these two. When, she is getting older and older, Ben gets younger and younger. At the end of the film, he again becomes an infant and dies. Brad Pitt plays the role of Benjamin. 

This movie is narrated to the audience by the voice of Kate Blanchet, who is the lover of Benjamin, which she was lying at the hospital to her daughter at her final moment of time. She also unties the truth that Ben is her real father. Watch it ! it will be more than what I have written :) !!!

KALAVANI

This is one of the recent enjoyable film from the debutant Sargunam. Nice performance by all the artist and the special credit goest to Ganja Karuppu. This plot is framed as a love story between the 'Kalavani' Arikki (a) Arivalagan a local workless youth enjoying the income of his father (he workst at Dubai) without his knowledge and the next village school girl Magesh (a) Mageshwari.

This movie is again good for the story narration and screen play. Couple of songs are also good and SS Kumaran has to work more on the BGM. The performance of Vimal, new comer Oviya, Ganja Karuppu, mates of vimal and all the rest is really appriciateable.

THE MACHINIST

This movie is all about Trevor Reznik a local machinist, who suffers from insomnia for a year after a road accident he committed. He accidently hit  Nicholas (a small boy - the plot does not say any name of this boy, Trevor calls him as Nicholas and his mom as Marie) and runs away without stopping. This incident upsets him a lot and from then he suffers from insomnia. The film opens with a day after 1 year of the accident; we can see Christian bale very skinny and looks really troubled.

This movie really stunned me for its story telling and screenplay. Ofcourse the other character Ivan was predictable for the viewer who has already watched FIGHTCLUB (1999). But still this movie does not have any of the resemblece of the later one.

Since, this being a drama and story telling movie, it is slow but not really boring. The camera work is awesome. Picture is mostly captured in dark and this adds more interest to the film. I read about the film in net and found two noticeble points. First one is that, Bale reduced almost 27Kg for this film in a month and the other one is that all the shooting of the film happened in Spain but the plot shows in US.

REALLY ONE OF THE BEST DRAMA !!!
